Trying to hard hating on Natal. Nothing you guys say about lag, or the camera is going to stop Natal from releasing. Anybody with a half a brain can think that a year old demo of technology can be improved upon. Natal was not a finished product last year. There isn't even a need to defend the technology, just some common sense about how technology improves with more work.
Then to call Peter a liar, or lapdog as if you guys get hands on time with Natal on a daily basis. Just makes...
He's trying to remain the top dog in that Universal system. When you are the head of a division that releases a game which breaks entertainment sales numbers the way MW2 did...Well theres some jealousy, and hate coming. Especially when you are around music, and movie executives talking up. Now is this an excuse for his behavior? No, but I think he's getting hit from all sides. "Keep it up Kotick", "There's no way your division can keep that up", etc.
After some PS3 fanboy/haters decided to dimiss this game, because it would be multiplatform. I am now wondering if they'd be so willing to let this game go exclusive to the Xbox 360. From the looks of it...Every gamer should want this title. Now Sega has to make sure they don't botch up the port.
Sega, and Platinum games are funny characters. Has anyone noticed that this game is Virtual On set in an action universe, with a cover system? Notice how the character can dash forward, ...
The Wiimote and Sony Arc are literally the same thing. So all that shovelware on the Wii. Could very well make it to the PS3. As for Natal, it may have its own type of shovelware. It just won't be WiiPS3wandmote like...
You make a fair point that the Sony Arc is not in the video. I read the entire article. It in fact details many PS3 games which already have lag. Killzone 2 being one of those games on the platform. So if current PS3 games (Yes Xbox 360 games do also) have latency then wouldn't it stand to reason that the Sony Arc would have games suffer from it as well? You gotta put your thinking cap on, or at least put up an honest answer for respecting yourself...Right?
Very little shown of the PS3 "Arc" we know it will have latency issues that developers must work around. I think the haters need to stop bashing Natal every 10 seconds, and focus on the fact that motion control gaming has issues period.
Because the titles where I see this the biggest issue are in sports games. It's one of my big issues with NBA 2k10. Even though isomotion is cool, you'll be doing moves, and have to wait for the on screen action to take place. If the ani...
If the Sixaxis was a success, then "certain" games would not be the only ones to use it. Especially when it was the default control that came with the PS3. Add insult to injury Sony would not have charged gamers $50 dollars for D3 controller. Which is the same price as what many believe Microsoft will bring out Natal for.
So in other words we get a new control input device for the price of Sony realizing their first motion control controller was a failure. While Microso...
Enjoy. There are more things to take away from this video than recounting the lag from an E3 build. I doubt if most even caught it. For one based on the low level of light. We can 100% eliminate any comparison to the Sony Eyetoy. Even though that has been disproved long ago.
The fact that the guy is break dancing lets me know that developers when they focus their software development will not have to build everything from the ground up. Much of the software development can be for...
I'm trying to balance the scales a bit, and have fun with the haters. I honestly do think the hate on this site for all things Xbox 360 is a bit too much. So smacking the mice around is fun sometimes. I know there's more of them than cats. Yet, I do respect everyone's opinion even when I believe most talk just because they are blessed with a mouth. Outside of that good gaming to all...
Perspective you have to understand that once the hardware is set, then of course there will be a limitation to what can and can't be done. What many are not understanding is that this technology was mainly built before it even came into Microsoft's hands. The developers have had a grasp on things such as lag, but not as it relates to gaming at a high level. Yet, with their expertise and Microsoft's they are consistently working on Natal. This to my suspicion is why we haven't seen a new demo ...
You are not making sense. The Xbox 360 controller is not a motion control device. What it works great for is gaming. It's not a gimmick, or something new. In fact many believe it's one of the best controllers ever created. Making standard FPS gaming on consoles. Of course I would love the pad to be better for 2d gaming, but we can't have everything.
The reason why the Sixaxis is the worst, is because the controller was the default input device that came with the PS3. Later replac...
How hard the haters here go to disparage anything Microsoft. As a gamer, I find it very sad. They use a careless website forum video, that is barely visible to claim an argument of facts against an unfinished product. What's even more sad is that they really act like they are making sense or a difference. I wonder if these same haters are exhausted as the only thing Microsoft has been able to do with the Xbox 360 is win. Despite every attempt to demean the systems, and Microsoft's accomplishm...
February 26...hmmmm how much time is left in the year? Oh yeah a good amount. I'm happy that in two months we've been blessed with great content, March won't be any different, neither will April with Splinter Cell Conviction. I wonder are going to be saying that for every month the rest of this year?
When a game, and company like Epic do what they do on such a great level with Gears. It would stand to reason that a partner benefiting (Microsoft) would want that relationship to keep going. So just using some common sense logic I ask; Do you think Microsoft is going to let Gears 3 go to another platform not Xbox related?
Let your moron meter show so we can see what's missing between your ears.
Personally I rather Epic work on a new IP that is just as invigorating a...
Operating a great business in the Wii. They know they are a games company, but at the same time. Going up against both Sony, and Microsoft you need leverage, smarts, and an ability to be shrewd. All of which Nintendo has in spades. So fine we get it the Wii is a toy, but the real question I'd ask after that; Is Nintendo a viable company in the games business? The answer is a resounding yes. For now that's all that matters to be honest.
Say what you want, or hate if you want. Yet, if it were not for Mr. Jaffe there would be no God of War. So you haters should bow down, and count your blessings. Come March the blades will cut deep...
